About

Fleetwood Mac is a British-American rock band best known for their 1977 Rumours album, which was the best-selling LP of all time. Rumours was famous for being the product of interband drama and heartbreak, as it came out right as Nicks and Buckingham broke up, the McVie’s marriage dissolved as did Fleetwood’s. Though the band has had many personnel changes over the years, the most well-known lineup included Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Christine McVie, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie.

Fleetwood Mac have sold more than 120 million records worldwide, making them one of the world’s best-selling bands. In 1998, select members of Fleetwood Mac were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and received the Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music.

In 2018, it was announced that Buckingham had been asked to leave the group and would not be going on their upcoming tour with them. Buckingham ended up filing a lawsuit against Fleetwood Mac over his dismissal. Mike Campbell and Neil Finn were announced as Buckingham’s replacements.
